I move amendment No. 80:
In page 38, to delete lines 16 to 21 and substitute the following:
"person with this Act, the person shall take those steps within the period specified therefor in the report.".
This is a drafting amendment.
SECTION 34.
Amendment agreed to.
Question proposed: "That section 34, as amended, stand part of the Bill".
This section is to ensure Members or people given directions by the commission must comply with the directions of the report. If a person refuses to comply what happens? We covered this before but I have forgotten the sanctions.
The committee lays a report before the House and recommends appropriate action.
