In paragraph (d) of sub-section (1) the term " a sufficient number of the persons " appears to be unusually vague and it might be desirable to prescribe the number of persons who should be trained in the use of the apparatus in relation to the number of workers employed in the workshop.
SECTION 37.
Question proposed: " That Section 37 stand part of the Bill."
Mr. Lemass
This is one of the things we could cover by regulation. As a matter of fact, the provisions of paragraph (b), (c) and (d) of sub-section (1) are to be found at present in the Chemical Works Regulations. The intention is to take these up again by regulations issued under this Act.
Question put and agreed to.
Section 38 agreed to.
