I move amendment No. 101 :
In page 24, subsection (1), lines 43 and 44, to delete " The Minister may make regulations declaring substances to be poisons " and substitute " Subject to subjection (2) of this section, any substance which is for the time being declared under section 14 of the Poisons Act, 1961, to be a poison for the purposes of the regulations made under that section shall be a poison ".
Amendments Nos. 101 and 102 may be taken together.
This is only a technical amendment.
They are both technical amendments.
I move amendment No. 102:
In page 24, lines 47 to 50, to substitute the following subsection for subsection (2):
"(2) Where regulations under section 14 of the Poisons Act, 1961, provide that a substance with which a declaration in the regulations is concerned is in specified circumstances to be regarded as not being the subject of the declaration, then subsection (1) of this section shall be regarded as not applying to the substance in those circumstances.".
