818 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Transport if he has received the final report into the Cahir rail accident; the recommendation included in the report; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1588/04]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe chief railway inspecting officer has informed me that he has completed his on-site investigation work into the Cahir derailment and that his consultation with relevant persons should be concluded by mid-February 2004. He expects to have the final report completed and submitted to me for consideration by the end of March 2004. The interim report is available on my Department's website, www.transport.ie.
