299 Mr. Blaney asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources if the planning application in relation to Greencastle Harbour has been submitted to An Bord Pleanála; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3984/04]
Amharc ar fhreagraGreencastle Harbour is owned by Donegal County Council and responsibility for its repair, maintenance and development rests with the local authority in the first instance. Officials from my Department and the county council have been progressing the project including preparation of the necessary planning application documentation. The planning application to An Bord Pleanála in relation to the proposed development at the harbour falls to be made by Donegal County Council.
