304 Mr. Neville asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of persons on a waiting list for work to be completed to their house under the special housing aid for the elderly scheme in each of the health board areas. [7560/04]
Amharc ar fhreagraAs the Deputy will be aware, the housing aid scheme for the elderly is, in the first instance, operated by the health boards on behalf of the Department of Environment, Heritage and Local Government. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officers of the boards to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply directly to him as a matter of urgency.
