193 Mr. P. Breen asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs if he has received correspondence from a person (details supplied) in County Clare regarding the legal rights of a separated father; if he intends to act on it; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8449/04]
Amharc ar fhreagraA reply has been issued to the correspondence received from the person referred to by the Deputy. While my Department is sympathetic to the situation of this person, the assistance that the Department can give is limited. If the person wishes to pursue this matter, he will have to do so through legal channels and he has been advised to consult his legal advisers on this point.
