Ceisteanna (37)

Liam Twomey

Ceist:

28 Dr. Twomey asked the Minister for Finance if his Department through the offices of the OPW has given consideration to using Johnstown Castle in County Wexford as the decentralised headquarters of the Department of Environment, Heritage and Local Government taking into account the role this castle has in this country’s heritage, in view of the fact that the Environment Protection Agency headquarters is nearby, that the castle grounds offer a favourable environment to work nearby and that distance and journey times are favourable for travelling to Dublin.
