113 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Health and Children if a person (details supplied) in County Kildare will be offered an earlier appointment with a consultant of the Adelaide and Meath Hospital, in view of the fact that the appointment is over eight months away and the person is in constant pain; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Responsibility for the provision of health services to persons residing in Counties Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has asked its CEO to investigate the matter and reply directly to the Deputy.
