170 Mr. Crowe asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will increase the number of Garda and Garda undercover patrols in the Mount Pillear, St. Bricin’s Park and surrounding areas of Dublin. [10937/04]
Amharc ar fhreagraI have been informed by the Garda authorities responsible for the detailed allocation of resources, including personnel, that these areas are the subject of regular foot and mobile patrols by both uniformed and plain clothes gardaí. I have been further informed that additional plain clothes gardaí have recently been assigned to the areas concerned. Local Garda management is satisfied that the current level of resources, personnel and patrols are adequate to meet the policing needs of these areas.
