Amharc ar fhreagraIntensive efforts are continuing to resolve the issue of who should take responsibility for claims which result from events which occurred before the establishment of the clinical indemnity scheme. This issue is of the greatest concern to consultants arising from the introduction of the new indemnity arrangements. The Irish Hospital Consultants' Association and the Irish Medical Organisation are kept informed of progress on a regular basis.
