179 Mr. Cregan asked the Minister for Health and Children when he expects a person (details supplied) to be transferred from Limerick Regional Hospital to the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Dún Laoghaire for rehabilitation, following a serious road traffic accident. [14803/04]
Amharc ar fhreagraMy Department has made inquiries into this matter and the National Rehabilitation Hospital has recently confirmed that the individual in question is on its waiting list and that it is not possible at this time to indicate when the individual will be admitted. The Deputy will appreciate that the scheduling of admission to the hospital is a matter for the consultant concerned and is determined solely on the basis of medical priority.
