130 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for Finance the reason for the delay in issuing a refund of tax due to unemployment to a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15513/04]
Amharc ar fhreagraI am advised by the Revenue Commissioners that no repayment of income tax is due to the taxpayer on account of unemployment, as no tax was deducted during his period of employment from 24 September 2003 to 28 November 2003 inclusive. This was confirmed to the taxpayer in a letter dated 16 December 2003.
