389 Mr. O’Shea asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government further to Parliamentary Question No. 477 of 30 March 2004 if the review of the disabled persons grant scheme in his Department has concluded; if he will publish the findings; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The review of the operation of the disabled persons grant schemes will be finalised shortly and I will then be in a position to consider the changes which may be required to ensure that the scheme continues to assist those persons in greatest need of such grant assistance.
