Arthur Morgan

Ceist:

206 Mr. Morgan asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform further to Parliamentary Question Nos. 174 of the 12 May 2004 and 195 of 19 May 2004, if the implication of his replies are that the system of compensation to be paid by the State upon the abolition of ground rents would mirror the system used to determine the purchase price for the acquisition of the fee simple in dwelling houses as contained in the Landlord and Tenant (Ground Rents)(No. 2) Act 1978 and the Landlord and Tenant (Amendment) Act 1984; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
