497 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will take steps to expedite the first application for registration by persons (details supplied) who purchased lands from the Irish Land Commission directly in 1992; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have been informed by the Registrar of Titles that an application for a Land Commission vesting was lodged on 22 May 2001, to which schedule number 36/93618,36/93619 refers. I can further inform the Deputy that the application is receiving attention in the Land Registry and will be completed as soon as possible.
