112 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Education and Science if a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath will be given a psychological assessment by his Department’s psychologist as a matter of urgency; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18727/04]
Amharc ar fhreagraI have made inquiries about this case, and I understand that the health board may arrange a psychological assessment for this person in the near future. However, if this does not prove to be possible, I am informed by the National Educational Psychological Service that the school attended by the person may commission an additional assessment under the scheme for commissioning psychological assessments. The school has received details of how to avail of this scheme.
