308 Mr. O’Shea asked the Minister for Health and Children if it is the responsibility of his Department, through the South Eastern Health Board to provide psychiatric services for a special school (details supplied) in County Waterford; his proposals in this regard; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Responsibility for the provision of health-related services in the south-east region is a matter, in the first instance, for the South Eastern Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the South Eastern Health Board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply directly to him.
