433 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the degree of progress made on the application for first registration by persons (details attached) in County Westmeath who purchased lands from the Land Commission in 1982; if, further to the reply given to Parliamentary Question No. 497 of 15 April 2004, the application can be completed without further delay; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraI am informed by the Registrar of Titles that these are applications for a Land Commission vesting which were lodged on 22 May 2001 — schedule Nos. 93618 and 93619 refer.
I am further informed that a query issued to the Department of Agriculture and Food on 23 June 2004 and that this application cannot proceed until this query has been satisfactorily resolved. However, I assure the Deputy that on receipt of a satisfactory reply the matter will receive further attention in the Land Registry.
