179 Aengus Ó Snodaigh asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children when the Medical Council will be included under the Freedom of Information Act; the reason for the delay in including the Medical Council under the Act; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [29413/04]
Amharc ar fhreagraIt is planned that the Medical Council will be included under the Freedom of Information Act on the occasion of the next substantial extension of the Act within the health sector. Preparations are in hand with a view to extending the Act to a number of additional health bodies early in 2005, including the Medical Council.
