184 Mr. O’Donovan asked the Minister for Finance the delay in the progress for the planned refurbishment of a Garda station (details supplied) in County Cork; the reasons for the delay; when it is proposed that the work will commence; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [29155/04]
Amharc ar fhreagraThere are no plans to refurbish the Garda station at Schull, County Cork. It is proposed to demolish the existing station and build a new Garda area headquarters on the existing site. Planning consultation in relation to the new development is completed. The project will be scheduled for commencement in 2005 subject to available funding.
