364 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the plans she has to provide additional funding to farmers to implement the recommendations of the Brosnan report; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [28873/04]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe recommendations of the Brosnan report regarding the possibility of allocating increased funding to the farm waste management scheme will be considered. An action programme for the implementation of the nitrates directive has been submitted to the European Commission whose response is awaited.
