Amharc ar fhreagraInformation on the number of persons taken to court for non-payment of hospital bills and the amount of unpaid accounts written off as bad debts are monitored and under the direct responsibility of the relevant health board or authority. Accordingly, my Department has referred the Deputy's question to the chief executive officer of the Eastern Regional Health Authority and requested that he respond directly to the Deputy on the matter raised.
