McGrath asked the Minister for Transport if Iarnród Éireann will purchase all, or part of the lands for sale at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Clonsilla, Dublin 15 with a view to providing a park and ride facility at Clonsilla train station; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe issue of the purchase or disposal of lands is an operational matter for Iarnród Éireann to consider in the light of its requirements. Iarnród Éireann is exploring options with Fingal County Council to improve access to Clonsilla station which may also yield some parking benefits. It would also encourage private sector involvement in car parking schemes.
