168 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources if he has received a request to have a person (details supplied) commemorated with a stamp issued in their honour in 2007; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [32338/04]
Amharc ar fhreagraMy Department has received a request in respect of a commemorative stamp for the founder of the Marist Brothers to be included in the 2007 commemorative stamp programme. The request has been forwarded to An Post for consideration by the philatelic committee which is responsible for making recommendations to Government on the stamp programme. It is expected that the committee will come forward with recommendations to Government in the new year.
