151 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Education and Science if she will investigate reports that students are being paid to attend a school (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; the action that will taken to ensure that these matters are stopped; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I am aware of the reports to which the Deputy refers. I understand that County Kilkenny Vocational Education Committee is conducting an investigation into the matter. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the VEC to provide a full report as a matter of urgency.
