Ceist:39 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if his attention has been drawn to the serious criticism of conditions in prisons here contained in the report, Human Rights Issues for Prisoners, published by prison chaplains and particularly its conclusion that there had been an appalling lack of progress in addressing human rights concerns in prisons; the steps he is taking to deal with the issues raised in the report; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
