1337 Mr. O’Dowd asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government the names of those who tendered for the contract for communications elements related to initiatives on local government funding; the name of the successful company or companies; if this was the lowest tender; the nature of the work involved; and if he will make a statement on the matter. A communications element did not form part of the request for tenders for the review of local government financing which is currently being undertaken by Indecon International Economic Consultants in association with the Institute of Local Government Studies.
