97 Dr. Twomey asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children when she will publish a report of comprehensive health statistics for 2003 and 2004 as done in 2002; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [2333/05]
Amharc ar fhreagraSince 1999, the Report on Health Statistics has been published in hard copy format every three years. Data for the interim years have been made available in updated tables on my Department's website and through direct requests to the Department. The latest edition was published in 2002 and the 2005 report is at an advanced stage of preparation. A number of the tables that will appear in the 2005 report are already available on the website. The Department's recently redesigned website, www.dohc.ie, facilitates improved display of and access to statistical data.
