139 Aengus Ó Snodaigh asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs if his attention has been drawn to the case of a person (details supplied); and if he has made representations to Germany in respect of this case. [2801/05]
Amharc ar fhreagraI understand that Mr. Remzi Kartal was detained in Germany on 22 January, on the basis of an international arrest warrant issued by Turkey. Mr. Kartal is detained in Nuremberg and his case is currently under consideration by the German judicial authorities. It is not my intention to make representations to the German authorities in regard to this case.
