268 Mr. Kehoe asked the Minister for Transport the steps he intends to take following correspondence sent to his Department from an organisation (details supplied) in County Wexford concerning the renewal of a route licence within the New Ross district area. [3071/05]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe route licence in question is an annual continuous passenger route licence issued under the provisions of the Road Transport Act 1932 and as such expired on 31 October 2004. My Department has been in contact with the licensee regarding the provision of service along the route. The licensee has confirmed that the service is not operating. On this basis, my Department has decided that the licence for the route in question will not be renewed.
