Amharc ar fhreagraI have recently announced details of 122 major school building projects which will progress to tender and construction over the next 12 to 15 months. Of these projects, four are extension projects at post-primary schools in County Kildare. My Department's building unit held general information meetings for all these schools to guide them through the process involved in moving projects to tender and construction stages. The meetings took place on 31 January and 1 February in Tullamore and all the schools were invited to attend.

Of the projects, two involve primary schools in County Kildare; one is a new school and the other is an extension and refurbishment project. My Department's building unit held general information meetings for the schools to guide them through the process involved in moving projects to tender and construction stages. The meetings took place on 31 January and 1 February in Tullamore and the schools were invited to attend.
A further ten primary projects from the 2004 school building programme being delivered in County Kildare. Construction is well underway on eight of these projects with the remaining two projects due to proceed to construction shortly.
