124 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the situation with respect to the investigation into the murder of a person (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1389/05]
Amharc ar fhreagraI am informed by the Garda authorities that, in the immediate aftermath of the incident in question, a full Garda murder investigation was launched and a large number of persons were arrested for questioning. Although no person has, to date, been made amenable for the murder, I am further informed that the Garda investigation remains open.
