168 Mr. P. Breen asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources if approval has been granted to the foreshore licence for the Mullagh and Quilty sewerage scheme; the status of the current scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5635/05]
Amharc ar fhreagraMy Department's responsibility in this matter relates to the foreshore licence aspect only. The conditions of the draft licence which the Department is prepared to recommend for my approval were sent to Clare County Council's consultants on 1 February and the Department is still awaiting confirmation of the council's agreement to them. Assuming a positive response is received from the local authority, the Department will then be in a position to make a recommendation to me.
