233 Ms O’Sullivan asked the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if he will meet a group (details supplied) in County Clare to discuss a proposal to re-open a factory; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6850/05]
Amharc ar fhreagraShannon Development is the agency responsible for regional economic development in the mid-west region and plans for the factory site in question are an operational issue for the company and not one in which I have any direct function. I understand that the group concerned has met the chairman of Shannon Development recently to discuss the issue. In the circumstances, I have no plans to meet the group at this point in time.
