69 Mr. P. McGrath asked the Minister for Finance if an evaluation of the proposed decentralisation of Ordnance Survey Ireland has been prepared or presented to him; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7120/05]
Amharc ar fhreagraAs stated in my reply to Parliamentary Question No. 52 of 1 February 2005, all organisations that are decentralising, including Ordnance Survey Ireland, OSI, have prepared and submitted an implementation plan as requested by the decentralisation implementation group, DIG. This plan included detailed material on all issues to be addressed in terms of people, property and business planning and will be further developed as additional information emerges. The plan also incorporates specific risk assessment and mitigation strategies. The plan was circulated to all staff and has been placed on the OSI intranet.
