326 Mr. O’Shea asked the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs the discussions he has had or proposes to have with the Department of Education and Science regarding the need to simplify Irish language grammar to enable the language to survive (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. The idea which has been raised in the media is an interesting one, which I am sure will stimulate public debate. As I have indicated in response to previous questions from the Deputy, I do not regard it as appropriate to respond formally on the record of this House to each and every item raised in or covered by the media.
