67 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the number of EU directives for which her Department has responsibility that are yet to be implemented; the number in respect of which the implementation date has passed; the steps being taken to ensure that all such directives are implemented; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Of the 16 EU directives to be transposed into national law for which my Department has responsibility, none are overdue for transposition. I intend to have the directives implemented by the due date in each case.
