462 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for Education and Science the resources, financial and otherwise, which are provided by her Department to a village project (details supplied) in Dublin 11; the services which are provided in return by the project to the education sector; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe Village Project is a community-based day assessment service that offers a comprehensive assessment to young people from the Finglas, Ballymun and surrounding areas. The Village Project was funded by my Department until 1 January 2004 when responsibility for funding this project transferred to the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform. My Department continues to provide the services of a full-time teacher to the project.
