447 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Defence if his attention has been drawn to a report of an incident at a location (details supplied) concerning the involvement of the military police; the action which has been taken as a result of the incident; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe matter referred to is the subject of a formal application for redress of wrongs which has been forwarded to me, after due process through the military chain of command, by a member of the Permanent Defence Force under the terms of Section 114 of the Defence Act 1954. As I intend to refer the matter to the complaints inquiry officer, under the administrative arrangements agreed with the representative associations, it would be quite improper to comment further on the subject matter of the application for redress.
