214 Ms O’Sullivan asked the Minister for Social and Family Affairs the number of working groups which have been set up by his Department since 2000; the name of each group; the amount spent by his Department on each group; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16278/05]
Amharc ar fhreagraBecause of the broad range of my Department's activities, there is at any one time a range of working groups and committees overseeing specific tasks in the development of many aspects of my Department's services. The costs involved in the main relate to standard administrative overheads such as the staff time required to carry out the work of the groups, the publication and dissemination of reports and in some cases the costs of consultancy expertise. I have arranged for details of the working groups established since 2000 to be forwarded to the Deputy.
