There are plans to build a new Garda station in Dundrum, County Dublin, and to this end the Office of Public Works is actively seeking a suitable site. When the site is secured, the provision of a new station will be progressed as quickly as overall priorities within the Garda building programme and the availability of resources allow.

Amharc ar fhreagraI am informed by the Garda authorities that they are considering the current and future accommodation requirements of the Garda in Stepaside, including the option of a move to a greenfield site in the context of a feasibility study carried out by the Office of Public Works. As with all such projects, it will be progressed as quickly as overall priorities within the Garda building programme and the availability of resources allow.
