Breen asked the Minister for Education and Science, further to Parliamentary Question No. 935 of 12 April 2005, if a decision has been made regarding an application for a full-time resource teacher for Travellers for a school (details supplied) in County Clare; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraI am aware of the case referred to by the Deputy. The school in question currently has the services of a resource teacher for a Traveller post shared with another school. I can confirm that the school has submitted an application for a resource teacher post for Traveller pupils to be based full time in the school. A decision on the application will be conveyed to the school as soon as the application has been fully considered.
