Amharc ar fhreagraI understand the Deputy's question relates to the possibility of introducing a requirement that catering establishments would be obliged to indicate to customers the country of origin of the meat they might consume. The current position is that officials of my Department are in contact with officials in the Department of Agriculture and Food in regard to this issue and I hope to be in a position to make an announcement shortly.
