121 Mr. Gogarty asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children the number of nurses from the Philippines working in health services here; the percentage of the total number of nurses they represent; the efforts made to date to attract nurses from abroad to work in the health service here; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The Deputy's question relates to the management and delivery of health and personal social services, which are the responsibility of the Health Service Executive under the Health Act 2004.
