449 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Social and Family Affairs when the one-parent family payment will be awarded to a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22532/05]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe person concerned applied for one-parent family payment in December 2004. To date, the Department is not satisfied that the person has disclosed her means in full. In particular, she has failed to provide confirmation of how renovations to her house will be paid for and the position in respect of a site she owns with a value of €100,000. This information was most recently sought in a letter sent to her on 22 June 2005. On receipt of all the necessary information, a decision will be made on the application and the person concerned will be notified of the outcome without delay.
