309 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Education and Science the position regarding an application for a new national school for Castledermot, County Kildare; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [26967/05]
Amharc ar fhreagraMy Department proposes to build a new 16 classroom primary school in Castledermot. The property management section of the Office of Public Works, which acts on behalf of my Department regarding site acquisitions generally, has acquired a site for this development. Progress on the project will be considered in the context of the school building and modernisation programme from 2006 onwards.
