Payments under the 2005 disadvantaged areas scheme have commenced and a payment amounting to €4,126.60 under this scheme will be made to the named person within the next few days.

Payments under the single payment scheme are scheduled to commence on 1 December 2005 in accordance with the provisions of the relevant EU regulations.
