390 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Education and Science if a response will issue to correspondence (details supplied) in relation to a school transport issue which is outstanding since October 2004; the reason for the delay in responding; and if she will make a statement on the matter. My Department has contacted the transport liaison officer for County Galway and Bus Éireann with a view to expediting the completion of a report on the matter referred to by the Deputy. The Deputy will be advised of the position as soon as the report has been received and considered.
