277 Mr. Naughten asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children the reason for the delay in opening the nine bed medical assessment unit in the accident and emergency department of the County Hospital, Roscommon; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [29008/05]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe Health Service Executive has advised my Department that the medical assessment unit at Roscommon County Hospital has opened. My Department has requested the parliamentary affairs division of the Health Service Executive to arrange to have the reasons for the delay in opening the unit investigated and to have a reply issued directly to the Deputy.
